The Maintenance Technician’s role is to follow a preventive maintenance schedule on a daily basis and may include the inspection of all plant equipment’s bearings, gearboxes, and other equipment to ensure proper operation, maintain lubrication intervals and exact lubrication quantities, and may include monthly checks of fluid levels, oil sampling, and wear prevention. Assists in the repair of machinery, and equipment, by performing the following duties.

Shifts: 1st shift, 2nd shift, and 3rd shift available!

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures.
• Perform conveyor lubrication and inspection tasks.
• Lubrication and inspection of all machinery and packaging equipment.
• Perform bearing, conveyance and line condition reporting.
• Oil room storage cleaning and maintenance.
• Keep tools and work area clean and sanitary.
• Follow all safety procedures and work as safe as possible at all times.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary.
• Assist Production Maintenance Technicians as needed.
• Maintain Lubrication logs.
• · Enter data into Maintenance CMMS software.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere and interaction with customers, co-workers, and management.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Required:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
• 2 years related experience and/or training in Food or Beverage manufacturing maintenance or High-Speed manufacturing equipment.
• Scissor Lift and forklift certification required .

• Can regularly talk, hear, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.

• Can push, pull, lift up to 25lbs regularly, up to 30lbs frequently, and occasionally up to 70lbs.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is regularly exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
